Synopsis
Exiled sorcerer Prospero conjures a mighty storm to bring his usurping brother to the shores of his enchanted island. There, spirits, lovers, clowns, and conspirators collide in a world shaped by illusion and desire. As Miranda and Ferdinand discover first love, Ariel yearns for freedom, and Caliban plots rebellion, Prospero must choose between vengeance and forgiveness.
Shakespeare’s final solo play weaves together magic, mischief, and reconciliation, guiding audiences toward a luminous ending where old wounds heal and new futures emerge.

Lance (he/him/his) is proud to be serving in his seventeenth year as an Associate Artistic Director for Oklahoma Shakespeare and just finished his twentieth year at TheatreOCU, where he serves as a Professor and Head of Performance. For OS, he has acted in Hamlet, Emma and Blythe Spirit and directed Misalliance,The Importance of Being Earnest, The Merchant of Venice, A Comedy of Errors, The Seagull, Othello, Measure for Measure, Macbeth, Blythe Spirit, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, GB Shaw’s You Never Can Tell, and Much Ado About Nothing. As an actor, he has appeared at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the Western Stage, the California Shakespeare Festival, the Okoboji Summer Theatre, Next Act Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre, the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, the Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the Arizona Repertory Theatre and was a company member for 5 years at American Players Theatre. He has performed in the City Rep productions of Our Town, Hay Fever, Moonlight and Magnolias, August: Osage County, Much Ado About Nothing and as Mark Rothko in Red and in Peter and the Starcatcher. His most recent projects include playing the role of Sam Byck in Assassins, Richard Nixon in Frost/Nixon, and Ebeneezer Scrooge (twice) in A Christmas Carol at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.

Miriam Eleanor Worley
Miranda
Miriam (she/her) graduated with her BFA in Acting from the University of Oklahoma in May, where she was named the Van Heflin Award recipient, the Drama program's award for an outstanding senior. She is thrilled to be making her debut with Oklahoma Shakespeare following that accomplishment! Recent OU credits include: Body Awareness (Joyce), Waiting for Lefty (Florence), and The Realistic Joneses (Pony). She recently traveled to Austin, TX, for a featured role in the upcoming feature film, Dead Calm: The Movie! She is thankful to her family back in Philadelphia for their support of her dreams and to her professors at OU for instilling in her the confidence and competence to take on her first Shakespeare project and the professional world.

Walter Garett Lacy
Ariel
Garett holds a BA in Theatre with a performance emphasis from Oklahoma State University. Representative roles include: Ricky Potts in Ride the Cyclone; Florindo in The Servant of Two Masters; Ernie Cusack in Rumors; and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Garett is a physical actor who plans to further his studies in physical theatre at The Actors Gymnasium in Illinois during the 2027 season. You can see Garett in the upcoming productions of The Tempest and Julius Caesar at OSP this summer.

Paxton Kliewer is an actor from Bethany, Oklahoma. He received his BFA in Drama with an emphasis in Acting from the University of Oklahoma in 2020. Lynsee Bell
Queen Alonsa
Lyndsee is a performer, director, and educator currently serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre Voice at Oklahoma State University. She holds an MFA in Musical Theater Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a BA in Theater Arts from San Francisco State University. Performance credits include Fiona in Shrek the Musical, The Doctor in Vinegar Tom, Olga in Three Sisters, and Hawk/Grandmother in the movement piece Folk Stories. Directing credits include Urinetown and the upcoming Songs for a New World (Fall 2026) at OSU. She also works as a vocal director and directed Let Me Be in partnership with Carpenter Square Theatre. Her work as a performer, director, and educator is unified by embodied storytelling and collaborative musical theatre practice that asks humanity to step forward.

Tré Zijuan Tyler
Antonio
Tré Zijuan Tyler is an actor and director originally from the San Diego area whose work is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and dynamic storytelling. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama with an emphasis in performance from San Francisco State University, where he received the Clarence Miller Musical Theatre Scholarship. His recent acting credits include national touring productions with The Reduced Shakespeare Company, as well as work with the African American Shakespeare Company in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alongside his performance work, Tre is an emerging director drawn to stories that explore identity, morality, connection, and the shared human experience. Recent directing credits include serving as Assistant Director on August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson with Actors’ Shakespeare Project in Boston, and directing Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ Everybody at Oklahoma State University.

Jimmy is a local actor who calls Oklahoma Shakespeare his home. Recently seen in Much Ado About Nothing (2023) Midsummer Night’s Dream (2024), Merry Wives of Windsor (2025) and Loves Labor’s Lost (2025); you can catch him later this summer in Julius Caesar.

Gonzalo
Mvnte is a proud Cherokee citizen for from Tulsa and excited to make his Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park debut as Gonzalo in this season’s production of The Tempest. Mvnte is a senior at Cameron University, earning his BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Theatre Performance. He is cowriter of The Mvskoke Project and originated the role of Cvpon, produced by the Springer Opera House in Columbus, Georgia. In 2011 he was also in the National Tourin of Te Ata as Kuruks at the National Smithsonian of American Indian. His most recent roles include Ocella in Unto These Hills, Cherokee, North Carolina and Toad in A Year with Frog and Toad at Cameron University.

Lindsey is thrilled to be back at Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, in the actual park this time! A graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s School of Drama, her stage credits include Elinor Dashwood, Jane Austen’s Christmas Cracker - OSP; Elizabeth “Lizzy” Bennett, Kate Hamill’s Pride & Prejudice - Gaslight Theatre of Enid; Hermia, A Midsummer Night’s Dream - LOFT Ensemble; Betty Haynes, White Christmas - Enid Symphony Orchestra; Tilly/Tillius, She Kills Monsters (Los Angeles Premiere) - LOFT Ensemble; Shiela, Selling Love (World Premiere) - Elite Theater Company; Bianca, Taming of the Shrew - Thousand Oaks Repertory Company; Rizzo, Grease - Gaslight Theatre of Enid. Her Indie Film credits include Cinema Six; Spaghetti Man; Olivia, Martha, Ilse; Shades (Best Supporting Actress, Action on Film Festival); LA Fadeaway (Best Actress, Bare Bones Festival); One Night In NoHo (Best Actress, Santa Barbara Int’l Shorts Fest). Parker is a rising senior at Oklahoma State University pursuing his BFA in Acting. Just like Wyatt, but cooler. He’s previously worked with OSP as an understudy for The Merry Wives of Windsor. Other recent credits include Jen Silverman’s Witch, Everybody, and I Hate Hamlet. He’s extremely excited to make his on-stage debut at OSP, and he’d like to thank his parents, Amy and Jerry, for their support over the years.

Christopher has worked with Oklahoma Shakespeare before in The Rover and is happy to be back for another production! Previous Productions include Pillar of Fire, Theatre Crude Fringe Festival; When We Were Young and Unafraid, OCU Out of The Box; The Playwright, OCU From Scratch. He just finished his Freshman year at Oklahoma City University and is a B.F.A acting major with a double minor in directing and scriptwriting. Wyatt is a rising Senior at Oklahoma State University currently pursuing his BFA in Acting. This is his first show at Oklahoma Shakespeare, and he could not be more excited to make his debut! Logan Propst is ecstatic to be making his onstage debut for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park with How to Write a Regency Romance Novel. He has worked with OSP before as a swing for Love's Labour’s Lost, and during the last several months as an apprentice artist. Previously, his experience is nearly exclusively college productions such as Urinetown and Alice by Heart, so this is one of the first of hopefully many steps into the professional world.

Alivia Downs is a first timer at Oklahoma Shakespeare, but she is so excited and grateful for this opportunity. Originally from Luling, Louisiana, she is a rising junior at the University of Oklahoma. She is currently pursuing her BFA in Acting at the University. Previously, she starred as Dr. Lorna James in a production of The Effect (OU) and also was a player in Love and Information (OU). Thank you to her family and friends for their support!

David Weber
Director
David Weber recently directed "Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, Revised, Again" here in our indoor space and was last seen on stage here as Claudius and Hamlet’s Ghost, directed by Artistic Director Tyler Woods. This winter he will take his acclaimed one man show, “An Actor’s Carol: One clown’s Dickensian marathon towards redemption” on a national tour, starting with two fundraising performances here at Ok Shakes in November. He is on the artistic and educational staff at Stagedoor Manor, and he loves teaching and directing for that community. He is also a proud member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and has an MFA in Acting from California State University Long Beach. David just completed his one-on-one clown certification course with one of the nation's leading clown experts David Bridel. He is on the board of directors and a company member for Moondog Theatre, on faculty at Oklahoma State University’s Department of Theatre as an Assistant Professor of Performance where he teaches BFA Acting, BFA Musical Theatre, and BA Theatre students, and he is an Artistic Associate here at Oklahoma Shakespeare. Robin Vest
Scenic Designer
Robin's work has been seen at The Goodman, The Old Globe, Utah Opera, Vancouver Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Cleveland Playhouse, Merrimack Rep, Triad Stage, Playmaker's Rep, Barrington Stage, and Williamstown Theater Festival. In New York she has worked with Manhattan Theater Club, Lincoln Center's LCT3 projects, Manhattan Class Company, Playwright's Horizons, Second Stage Uptown, The Cherry Lane and many others. Robin spent seven years on the faculty at Mason Gross school of the Arts at Rutgers University, prior to that she had the pleasure of assisting Alexander Dodge, and Walt Spangler. She received her MFA from Yale School of Drama and BFA from the University of Oklahoma.

Jason Estala
Costume Design
Jason is the Assistant Professor of Costume Design at Oklahoma State University. Originally from El Paso Texas, Jason holds a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts from New Mexico State University and a M.F.A. in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Florida. He has worked in a wide array of costuming including opera, dance, film, special FX, historical recreation, millinery, puppetry as well as marching band and entertainment uniforms and show designs. Jason has worked with many companies and schools including the Brevard Music Center’s Janiec Opera Company, Pensacola Opera, Dona Ana Lyrical Opera, The Spoleto Festival, Summer Rep Theatre, NBC, University of West Florida, Kennesaw State, University of Florida, University of California at Riverside, Florida State University and Wardrobe Witchery an opera costume rental company. Clara Starkwell
Lighting Designer
Clara is a Lighting Designer who is passionate about storytelling through the expression of color and form. She enjoys painting and sees lighting as an extension of that art form coming to life. She has been honored to be a co-recipient of KC/ACTF National Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for her Woe Is Me lighting design. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Clara has worked with a diverse group of artists and directors. She interned as an Assistant Lighting Designer for LA Opera’s 2017-19 seasons. She received her Associate of Arts and Emerging Theatre Technology certificate at Citrus College. Then after achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Production from Oklahoma City University, with an emphasis in Lighting Design and Technology. (clarawiebe.com)

Thess is a sound designer and engineer originally from Fort Smith, AR. He is currently at Oklahoma State University pursuing his double Bachelor's in Theatre and Music Industry. Other shows Thess has worked on at OK Shakes are The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged), The Lion in Winter, and Love's Labour's Lost. Thess is most excited to design a combination of magical music and tropical storms in The Tempest!

Katigan is an Oklahoma based actor, stunt performer, fight director and the artistic director for The Rowdy House! He is currently pursuing his BFA in acting at Oklahoma State University. His most recent credits include fight directing for The 39 Steps, I Hate Hamlet and A Streetcar Named Desire. You can also catch him being thrown off buildings all summer at Frontier City’s Wild West Stunt Show! Katigan is so excited to work with OSP for the first time!

Joan is an actor, director, and teacher, and she is always enthusiastic to share her passion for storytelling and creating theatre. Currently, Joan is an Associate Professor of Acting and the Director of Performance at Oklahoma State University. This past year she developed and toured a one-person show called THE GULL, after Anton Chekhov’s THE SEAGULL, where she plays ten characters. Recent acting credits include Lady Capulet, ROMEO AND JULIET, Queen Eleanor in both THE LION IN WINTER and Shakespeare's KING JOHN, and Madame Pernelle in TARTUFFE.
